He had a groin injury. If it wasn't healed he can't play. This is not the type of injury anyone can play through. He is fully recovered from the injury but he hasn't played hockey in a month. Why on earth would Sweden ride him hard in a back-to-back instead of easing him in?
Feel free to go around thinking stuff despite everything points to you being wrong. Make your own tinfoil hat.
Sweden had planned on him playing vs Latvia and sitting vs US, even before the game against Latvia. It makes perfect sense, unless you are a disgruntled Flyers fan.
