A "win now" mode means they want to upgrade their team in order to fill a void. What void would they be filling? How would they be upgrading?

I don't see Parrish as a confident veteran upgrade from Tanguay. Right now Tanguay is riding high while Parrish isn't. That's no upgrade at all. And, while Hamrlik is a little older and perhaps produces slightly better numbers offensively, Morris has absolutely no self-esteem or lack of confidence problems whatsoever. They wouldn't be adding much, if anything, by replacing Morris with Hamrlik.

This deal looks good from New York's perspective but it would never fly from Colorado's perspective. Never.
