Individually, none of them look too bad. They can all skate and handle the puck. But without the puck is another matter. Especially in front of their own net. When even a mite like Briere can stand in front of the net and tip in shots...
Colorado was in a similiar position (Liles, Shattenkirk, Cumiskey, etc) not long ago but look how they have remade their blueline adding Erik Johnson, Shane O'Brien, Heyda and some guy named O'Byrne.
If the Habs don't begin to reshape their blueline by adding some muscle, I don't like their chances of being a playoff team anytime soon. There is too much emphasis around the league on going to the net and battling for loose pucks and the team just doesn't have the personnel to win the majority of those battles, in my opinion.
We definitely could use some help clearing the front of the net.
