I can laugh too...I had tens of thousands of cards, mostly in mint condition, and many in whole box sets get ruined when I was on vacation - my grandparents came over, water the plants, and left the hose on flooding the basement and warping a good deal of my cards, as well as ruining abuot 150 albums (they may still be in tact, but they're all warped and sticking to each other). I laughed it all off since I couldn't get upset with grandparents, and have mostly ignored the albums and cards since.
As for roller derby - never got into it - watched it occasionally (was a big roller skater for years - going to the rink 3-4 times per week), but never got into it.
I assume many in here sat around Saturday afternoons watching Wide World of Sports with Jim McKay - bowling, ski jumping (better known as the agony of defeat), boxing (when it was easy to decipher who the champion was), etc.
