My knee is no longer arthritic...

thanks to reconstructive surgery in which my arthritis was shaved off (temporarily, since it'll come back no doubt considering there ain't much meniscus there anyhow).

I think 1980 sealed it for most of us. I was in 5th grade, I believe, and for a period of time I was able to convince the gym teacher to allow us to play hockey (plastic sticks and plastic pucks). Unfortunately, I was the only one begging each day and I lost out more often than not. Still bitter though. The other sports come and go, and I'll root the home team more often than not, if rooting at all. I don't mind being fair-weathered in other sports, since I've had enough foul weather with the Rangers.
