Goodbye Bob, outstanding player, one of our best ever. Those quick to condemn would be wise to look that up. There is a reason for the #23 in the rafters.
Some brutal, abysmal trades and promotions of course; and ultimately the failure of being consistently in the upper echelons of the league, let alone competitive, falls at his doorstep. I also think losing his daughter during his GM tenure had a major effect on him and his job. Felt like a lot of his passion was drained then.
