I agree completely. If anyone knows anything about young players in the game today it's definitely McGuire.
In my personal opinion, McGuire is definitely whispering in Molson's ear a little bit. Obviously given the delicate nature of the circumstances, you can't expect neither Molson or McGuire to openly admit this during the season because of Pierre's job. It would look bad on him if he was conspiring to help the Habs and yet still doing "neutral" broadcasts and interviews.
I don't know if I'd want McGuire as an official GM of the Montreal Canadiens, but let's say we brought him as assistant GM and director of professional scouting? THAT'S something I'd genuinely love to see. This guy knows his hockey.
