Anyway, I think it would be a disaster for our team if we had a defense that had room for him next season. There really has to be a priority this summer on getting another strong top-4 experienced player back there. And then we'll still have Diaz and Emelin coming along as part of the bottom grouping. So there really isn't room for more inexperience again next season.
And past that, Tinordi simply won't be ready. He recovered nicely this year to put his prospect status back on track after a miserable first year in the OHL, but his development curve still absolutely needs at least 1 - and more likely 2 or 3 - years in the minors.
