I'm sure the Rangers don't have any old doctor looking at Prucha's knee and suggesting something. If he hurt himself in the Czech Republic, I would bet that he'd be flown to New York to visit with Jim Andrews. Also, I'd guess that they wouldn't want him going to other trainers for advice on rehabbing, or overseeing it, as trainers and doctors have different rehabbing procedures. For instance, my doctor didn't let me get a CPM machine which would begin bending my knee early after the surgery since he feared my pins would break. Many other do not feel the same way. This is a franchise-type knee - you don't want to f- it up, I would think.
