What about his NHL record? Not just this year but total:

13 - 4 - 3 with .926 and 2.08 GAA

When we were good in front of him, he won a lot (and looked better doing it than Varlamov or Nuevy, in my opinion).
this season. 5 starts 2-2-1 with gaa over 2.80 and sv% under .910. he played against buff-L, flyers-OTL, minn-shutout, detroit(during their losing streak) W, SJ-L

in those starts he gave up 4, 3, 1, 0, 5 goals.

last season he has 11 starts. 6 were against teams that missed the playoffs. of the other 5, 4 were against 6, 7 or 8 seed playoff teams. the one game vs a top team was a 5-0 L to philly.

holtby is capable. thinking that he has done a lot so far to prove he is ready to backstop a team in the stanley cup playoffs, there's nothing to back it up
