How can we get Olli Jokinen (or Jussi for that matter)?

He's got good size, average skill, and horrible work ethic and attitude. That doesn't add up to much.
b) His "breakout" season is his 7th full year in the NHL? Ever think that maybe it's not a "breakout" season and maybe he's just a mediocre player?
c) Well if you're going to say he's doing it all by himself without help from teammates, then you can't really act like being "Florida's leading scorer by a pretty fair margin" means anything [since his teammates suck anyway (according to you)].
d) He also has the second most penalty minutes on his team and none of those are fighting majors.
I really don't see what's appealing about this guy. If he came at around 1 million instead of his current 2.5 which he will be probably wanting more next year, he'd be a great 2nd liner.
Er im guessinf you know nothing about him at all then. Jokinen was a bust until he came to Florida, a complete bust. Since then, he has single handly run our offense, and even this year with our forward prospects getting better, he still runs the show. Your underating him here alot, he has great size, good skills and a good work ethic. If his attitude sucks, then why is he the captain of an Nhl team, that was has Martin Gelinas, Nieuwy and Gary Roberts on it? So what about the minutes? Who gives a damn whether they are fighting or not.
He is currently the 5th best center in the league.
Jokinen wouldnt fit your needs though, and as some of you already said the Sens, Flames would be willing to give much more up. Also you could sign him as a UFA, but he will cost 5 mil + on the free market.
