Murray is also a year older than most draftees, he is a '93 birth year. I wasn't blown away by Murray at WJC. I wanted to get a feel what level of impact Murray would be in NHL. Sounds like Alzner is relatively close comparsion far as future NHLer.

Murray certainly isn't going to be a Redden! Redden was much bigger, stronger and more offensive. Not a Niedermayer neither as he but up 82 points in 57 games his draft year. Despite being 11 months younger than Murray. Not even close.

Edit: A poor man's Bouwmeester is about the closest I could come on comparing Murray to recent Top 5 pick in NHL. I went back 10 drafts. Murray doesn't have Jaybo size of course and a notch below offensively.
