I like him. Not a huge fan but he's a capable player.

It's really no surprise why he "disappeared", in my view at least. It was two fold. Injuries forced him up the line-up into a spot where he just doesn't have the skill set to play. Then, when he was dropped back down, he lost some of the Wild's NHL 3rd-4th line depth players to play with as those players were now still up a line or two and he was relegated to playing with players who will have a difficult time finding NHL work next season.

If Johnson is in his role and the rest of the Wild's team is in their's; he's a good fit. He's absolutely a replaceable player at some point but he's a solid NHL spot filler for the time being. We'll see where he's at next year.
