While I don't want to under value Fisher's role on this team, there's absolutely no empirical evidence that proves that he's what this team is missing. After all, this is hardly the first time that he's been out for an extended period of time.

Let me state that I think that when he's playing healthy Fisher is an excellent contributor to this team. However, I have little patience for guys who are constantly injured (even though I know it's not their fault). The problem is that you're waiting around for that short stretch of time when the player is healthy and effective. Fisher will forever be labelled as injury prone. He's already had several knee and shoulder problems, and for a "gritty" player this is huge.

Too bad....he's an excellent player when healthy.
