Arron Asham is not an NHL-calibre player? As for Nathan Smith, the only thing that *isn't* keeping him from becoming an NHL player is his offensive production. He is solid in all other facets of the game.

Also, as RIAL's Scott Parker example also corroborates, high scoring in the WHL does not, in any way, shape or form, translate to high scoring in the NHL.
