Imagine if he'd blown it dead and it was onside? Linesman call helps score Pittsburgh third, Linesman call kills Briere's breakaway?

Seems clear to me the two plays, that basically voided each other, were very connected.
This wasn't a bang-bang call, it was a no brainer offside call
