...both teams scored one goal after a whistle should have been blown.

The penguins had 3 powerplays to the Flyers 1--and some of the calls / non-calls were pretty poor (e.g., Giroux gets called for boarding; about ten minutes later, Hartnell got run on a similar play with no call, etc.--there were ample opportunities for the referees to balance the penalties, and they did not).

The Briere goal was clearly offsides, and was wrongly called. Pittsburgh's third goal was a clear icing that was wrongly called. They balance out.

Mostly, though, it comes down to this. Pittsburgh was dominant for the first, but the Flyers were the far better team in the 2nd, 3rd, and OT. Just the eye test suggested as much.

EDIT: and to answer your question--why isn't it reviewable? Where do you draw the line? What if an offside play happens 30 seconds instead of 5 seconds before a goal? What about icing calls--not those in which an official determines a player could have gotten to the puck (a judgement call) but those in which the officials wrongly assume a player got to the red line? Should those be reviewable?

Replay is fine as is.
