Exactly. I said this before, but I'ss say it again. When Hedjuk and Drury were rookies, whom did they play with? Answer: The 'Lanche put them on a line with Joe friggin' Sakic. The Rangers? Lundmark gets bounced from LW to RW to Center. And he gets to, for the most part, play with wingers like Lacouture and Purinton. Or he gets to be centered by Rheume. Or he plays with Lacouture and Ortmeyer. Now I like Ortmeyer, but I doubt that his future is as a sniper or playmaking winger.
If it had been the Rangers who had Drury and Hejduk that had been with the Rangers during their rookie year, one would be jettisoned to Hartford after not scoring a goal in 5 games and the other would be relegated to skating on the 4th line, getting 4 minutes a game, playing with waiver-wire products.
