You do realize that the Leafs are 4 points out of last in their division, have fewer wins than the Habs and the Sabres and are likely only ahead of the Sens because Ottawa has played 3 fewer games, don't you?
Further, including overtime losses, Toronto true record is at .500 now, with 7 wins and 7 losses and 5 ties. The Leafs have are 3-4-3 over their last 10 games, and have only pocketed 10 of 20 points during that stretch. To top it all off, the Leafs play 5 of their next 6 on the road, with their only home game against Van. and 5 road games against Edm., Van., Atl., Ott., and NYR. IMHO, the Leafs will be lucky to gather 5 of those 12 points. With any luck, The Rangers, Sens, Sabres and Habs will all pass Toronto before the month's end unless the Leafs do noticably better than .500 for the rest of the month.
Oh, for what it's worth also, the Leafs have points in only 7 of their last 9 games.
