I hung out one night several seasons ago at Buffalo Wild Wings with JF, Top Shelf (the LTL blogger), and DougKnowsBest watching a CBJ game at Nashville. We all had a great time and after the game I enjoyed listening to JF talk about his days playing in bands around town.

I'm still in shock after reading this sad piece of news. God's Speed, JF - we will all miss you very much.

Edit: I'll share one thing with you all that I'll always remember about JF. Late one Christmas Eve night some years back (I was a poster here before 2009), I logged on to the boards after putting the presents under the tree. I posted something about how much fun it was in preparing for Christmas morning and how I was looking forward to seeing the looks on the kids' faces when they came downstairs to open presents. How funny it was that JF posted right after me at about 1AM sharing the same experience as me. I learned then that he had a daughter the same age as one of mine, so that gave me a bit of a connection to him which I shared with him later when we had our one and (regrettably) only night on the town.

Danielle, I am so sorry for the loss that you and your Mom are going through. He obviously loved you so much - please take that love that he gave you and share it with others who need it.
