Anderson's numbers this season were hurt somewhat because he played behind a run-and-gun team that suffered from a lot of defensive breakdowns and tended to allow a lot of high-percentage scoring chances. He's actually had a pretty good season. A lot of decent goaltenders would have struggled with the workload he has had.

Lundqvist is a sensational goaltender but the Rangers generally do a pretty good job limiting their opponents to low-percentage chances. It's a good strategy because it means the team works like a well-oiled machine at its best, but it does run the risk of having the team fall back on their heels to protect a lead and invite trouble from aggressive opponents.

Overall I'd never say Anderson is as good as Lundqvist but I do think he has been his equal in this series for the most part. If he were not matching Lundqvist's performance, Ottawa wouldn't be able to win games by scoring only 3 goals, because that was rarely their MO this season. They are playing about as well as they can defensively but are still more prone to breakdowns in their own zone than the Rangers.
