I learned english on hfboards mainly.I could barely understand 1/4 of what I was reading when I got here(lurked for a year or so).I decided enough was enough and just learned it rather quickly then registered when I thought I could write a sentence.

Also started watching tv series and movies in english.I very rarely speak english though , probably going to new york soon , it'll be good for practicing my english.

When I was in the middle of my learning curve , I started trying to think in english sometimes , and realized I'm dumber when I'm living in english because of the lack of precision I can apply to whatever I'm thinking , especially since I have quite a rich vocabulary in french.
