18 players drafted & developed by Timmins & his staff from 03 to 07 went on to have NHL careers. That's almost double the team closest to the Habs.

The problem with the Habs isn't development and it isn't drafting. The problem the last nine years has been the fact that we may have had the two worse GMs this side of Milbury/Houle.

And what highlights this fact is that all the young players that were traded - no strike that not traded - but given away didn't have to go down in the other team's minor system. They moved right in the parent team and started producing.

I think McDonagh was the only one that had to spend a little more time in the minor system.
