Modern sports training focuses on mobility and unilateral exercises to prevent joint and muscle injuries. Concussions have nothing to do with training and not all injuries are preventable, but if you're getting a lot of knee, shoulder, hip, groin, hamstring, etc injuries it's worth looking at the trainers.

I believe they went back to Kirk Olson this past year and from looking at his program he is a solid trainer. Chris P-W is actually a friend of my uncle but I'm not as sold on him compared to Kirk who has a lot more experience and runs his own training facility. Remember how guys kept coming into camp out of shape and then getting injured all year long.

The medical staff are just there to treat injuries, not to prevent them. Good fitness and strength trainers can help prevent them. Ounce of prevention, etc.
