JVR needs to realize once and for all that his game is in front of the net. Too many times he tries to take things wide to make a play. This guy can be a dominant force in front of that net. Last night was a perfect example of that. He made a living annoying the crap out of Brodeur. They couldn’t stop him and they couldn’t move him. With a playmaker like Briere on the same line it is paramount that JVR realizes that because he is going to get a boat load of chances to bury goals down low. Briere is magical behind the net and if JVR just plants his big ole butt right in front of Brodeur he’s gonna get a lot of goals this series.

Best game of the year, now follow it up with another great Game 2!
