Being completely honest what are his chances of A) making the team, and B) playing significant minutes?
He's still only 19. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to have him come over at the end of his current contract (he'd be 21/22) and play then. This only benefits the Capitals. He'll be a bit older, more mature, stronger and hopefully in a better position to contribute to the caps. And he'd still only be 21/22.
