However, the blade that's in my stick now is still very intact. It's the Synergy II Shaft and Blade:

There's a picture of the shaft and blade if it matters.

So like I said, I need a new shaft and the blade is still good. Can I buy any tapered stick and put that blade in it to make it fit or can I only buy Easton shafts?

Also, I was looking and it looks like Easton came out with a new stick, the Mako, and it's priced higher than the S19 so I'm assuming it's their new top line stick. Any opinions on it?

Thanks guys.
The Synergy II is kind of oldish, so I'm not 100% sure on that specific one, but you can definitely mix and match shafts and blades, even if tapered, since the taper should be standard. My current backup is an EQ50 shaft with a Bauer X60 blade.

The Mako is one of their top of the line sticks. The other is the Stealth RS. The Synergy line appears to have been replaced by the Mako line while the Stealth RS has supplanted the S19 as the top of the Stealth line.
