Yes, but where there is extreme conservatism there is also a load of repressed kinkiness. I lived for a while in Orlando, which is incredibly conservative. In the shadow of Disney and all the wholesomeness is a red-light district that is not to be believed (South Orange Blossom Trail). I'm thinking back to Jim Bakker and other hypocrites like that. My favorite was an extreme right-wing congressman named Bob Bauman on the Eastern Shore of Maryland who was arrested for having sex with a 16-year-old male prostitute.
