The Oilers are not at all comparable IMO. They got outplayed and needed Roloson to save them in a couple of the wins against Anaheim, that's about it. When they outplayed Detroit, San Jose, and Carolina they won. When they didn't, they lost. With each passing year, Roloson seems to get more and more credit and the rest of the team less and less. The Oilers were not "carried" by Roloson; he was one of several big contributors. If he really was the be all and end all, it would have been a quick sweep for Carolina, not a 7-game struggle.
Have to agree with Replacement on the Rangers. I picked them to come out of the east, but it's ridiculous how badly they've had to labour to gut out wins against the 15th and 16th best teams in the playoffs. Boston and Pittsburgh both getting bounced was a gift, but they may not take advantage. I'd actually take the Devils to beat them, if the Rangers even survive Washington, which is far from certain.
