my dad was at that game. he doesn't like talking about it.

He was also at the Zednik game a couple years ago. As was my brother. It really shook my brother up. can't ever imagine what it would to you as the victim.

hockey players are tough mother f'ers. I don't care how prissy some might seem (Roy), when you have a frozen piece of rubber bouncing off of you at 90-100mph, people smashing into you at high speed every other night, and the chance of massive lacerations, whether its to the jugular, or an achillies like Gaustad... i'll take a step back in respect. ESPECIALLY for goalies. you gotta be a little whacked to sit there and take that kind of abuse.

and in the end, you're just another dude, not a god. glad to hear he's seemed to straighten himself out. Would love to see the Sabres give him a night once in a while. The fans would roar a deafening roar for him...
