Clarification: He is not a special player in my eyes but he will play five to seven plus years in NHL
because of his reliability in his own zone.

I thought Barrie was a middle second rounder a couple years ago but it did not happen. Even worse, his performance was far better than Severson.

Huska was absent for three weeks (WJC). The Rockets got bombed in the first round. Too bad Severson could not display his performance much longer. That's one of factors too.
Are you really comparing Barrie and Severson?

Ones a tiny but aggressive puck mover, the other a large framed safe/simple two-way defensman...

The only basis for comparison is Kelowna.
