Also, if you're not able to lift the puck off the ground on your slapshot, it may be because you're hitting the puck and not the ground first. Hitting the ice right before the puck gives it that flex when shooting.

I also think that it's because you've been playing for only 6 weeks and your stick is 100 flex which is way to high for you.
