Getting rid of JVR would a mistake imo, he hasn't even reached his full potential, he can only get better from now on. If we get rid of him he'll probably become one of those ex-flyers that go on to lift the cup with another team. Let's not forget that this team is rebuilding and young, which means it can only get better from now on (assuming our D gets taken care of), very few expected us to make into the playoffs let alone avoid a first round exist against Pittsburgh. I say we had a good run, the only thing that disappointed me this series was lack of heart. This team was capable of so much more but they failed to show it. I just hope this is a mistake they can all learn from. Getting exposed like this will probably ensure that they will take measures to correct their mistakes. I've got a good feeling about next year.
