He's playing like a 3rd liner and with players like Stepan, Gaborik, Richards, Hagelin, Callahan, and now Kreider all having better rights to the 2nd line, there's really no need for him to see the 2nd line on a regular basis ever again. At this point, I'd rather see AA who's younger, bigger, and more offensively talented on the 2nd pairing. Take this into consideration and it only makes sense to move him for a player that can improve the top6.
A more consistent version of Dubinsky is Callahan and Callahan is NOT a legit #1 line player.
tototally backward thinking, you can never have enough players like Dubi. You dont know what will happen with the other players, he could be playing good on the first line for all you know, it be in there interest to keep him atleast another year or so and see how he goes.
