I totally agree with you. But that's only looking at a team on paper, as far as I'm concerned, as I haven't watched the early 2000s Habs.
And i just thought of something... The Habs were pretty god awful this season. It's like my brain tried to avoid going there when I first wrote my post. I don't know if this season is worse than 2006-2007 was, even though the standings suggest so. I still feel the Canadiens' record is far worse than the team actually was on the ice.
