So, Eminger tops Havlat by simply being a good boy? No need to mention that he hasn't yet made a sizable impact in the league, I guess. The only thing the Eminger has over Havlat is his being a defensemen, which is something the Caps desperately need.

Zubrus is valuable to the Caps, but certainly not untouchable. He's an eighth-year forward (though only 25) who has size, but a weak shot and hasn't reached 50 points. Those guys are not at a premium.
