Actually, the best recipe for success is the Detroit model. Puck position and counter punching. When Pittsburgh won the cup they were able to adapt to any style. This can't be done with a coach who employs a rigid system. It also requires a gutsy work ethic.

Boston won last year by being the baddest team on the planet with one of the best goaltending performances in history. Everyone has a goalie this year. There are no Osgoods or Marc Maybe Fleurys.
