If such a situation did occur, other pieces would have to be added to the transaction, such as John Feinstein's suggestion (and I'm not a Feinstein desciple) of pursuing Rick Nash or possibly reuniting Semin with BB.

id rather have semin than nash, nash is very similiar to semin with a worse defensive game, and his contract doesnt help
