Sather was to stop him. He should have ponied up another 200-300k to Rucinsky rather then waste money on a guy like Dixon Ward... and even though I liked him, Rucinsky would have also been more valuable then Ted Donato.

I don't mean to sound like a huge Rucinsky fan . He's a solid player, but nothing more. Even if we had him all of last year we still wouldn't have made the playoffs, but he would have helped the team a little bit. I do think you could make the argument for him being the most consistent player so far this year. He has played solid hockey pretty much every game so far. Then again, you could probably say the same about Dunham (until the injury), Holik, or Mess. I'm just saying that noone had necessarily gone out and nabbed that title. I think he's been solid yet unspectacular.
