The bottom six, while being full of strong will & high energy really is compromised offensively, compared to other contenders.
What Hank is doing this postseason is nothing short of amazing. He has taken this team on his back and consequently has injected his teammates with the calming confidence that he has everything in check back there.
I can't say you're wrong about Gabby, for the most part he's been a no-show. Richards has a perpetual threat in Gabby whether Gabby can ever step up or not, but on his left side he has Kreider, who is quickly gathering notice around the NHL. There's no arguing the bottom 6 is weak offensively however. Next year I would love to slot Boyle into the 4th line C spot and put JT Miller in the third line C role.
As much as you probably don't want to acknowledge this, the Rangers could add Parise as well. Lots of players on this roster will only get better within the next few years too, such as Stepan, McDonagh, MDZ, and Kreider for example. The Rangers have a few more good D prospects as well, the future is looking awesome for the Rangers. The problems they're having offensively should naturally solve themselves as key players enter their primes.
