Yeah, 5 games is a great indication of one's abilities... How many points did Pietrangelo score in that series again? Backes? Oshie? How about Shattenkirk, who was plain awful?
Of course he's declining. But it's not a particularly fast decline and he's still a very good player. The point is this is a very, very bad deal for the Sharks. Of course it doesn't make sense for the Blues, but Marleau put up 5 more goals that Stewart and D'Agostini
last season. He's not a cap dump, so quit acting like he's Horcoff or Bouwmeester.
