You're the GM! How do you build the Habs for next season?

You have Gionta, DD, and Pleks holding top six roles, the other winger needs to be a beast if we're going to compete in the playoffs.
Tootoo takes stupid penalties, fine. But he's borderline nuts and brings an element that we don't have on this team and I like that. Maybe you take him out of the equation, move Moen to the fourth line, and bring in Leblanc (or try and coax Perezhogin out of the KHL) to play on Eller's wing. Perezhogin - Eller - Leblanc would be a great line actually.
I know Bourque is lazier than hell but he's on a fair cap hit and probably not going to get moved (it would be Gauthier-esque to move him after his worst season at lowest possible value), give him the chance to rebound. Although seeing as you're located in LA maybe we can send him out to you, and you can "make him disappear" along with Gomez somewhere up in the hills.
And I stand by Hannan or a similiar player as I think we need a veteran guy on the bottom pairing who is dependable and stay-at-home and would rather sign one for bargain basement prices than overpay at the deadline. Jackman you overpay by a year and a few bucks because it's Montreal and we have to do that with UFAs.. but come on he and Gorges would be an elite shutdown pairing.
The Canadiens need to rip a page out of Dean Lombardi's book when it comes to building a third line. Go find the Lucic's and the Dwight Kings and George Nolans! Bourque would not make the LA Kings roster, he'd be in the press box. Same with Leblanc or Perezhogin. No chance, tho I'm not ready to give up on Louis yet, I like his release.
Hannan's best days are way behind him imo. He was solid in the old rules, but I can't see it now. I do agree that we are missing a warrior to pair with our skilled D tho, and Jackman very well could be the guy tho he's undersized for the game he plays.
I'm not a Clowe fan. I lived in Norcal for a long time and I know the Sharks very well. Clowe is extremely inconsistent, mostly because he is as slow as molasses. In a playoff round, he can be effective on the boards, but can also be passive. Not sure he helps us against Chara, so I would opt for size WITH speed like we've been doing.
You don't address our goalscoring issues either. We need some guys who can put the puck in the net!
I would also start looking at players that have performed well in recent playoffs who might be available, like Jarret Stoll for instance. He's a big body hustler. If he's your third line center, you might be a contendah.
