He's not scoring much, but to be fair, none of our defensemen really are. I like Weber's hard, low shot. He'll be fine.

Rinne for now is kind of an unknown. He's having a marvelous rookie year in the AHL, and played outstanding for us in his NHL debut. I guess time will tell. I'm guessing Chris Mason is re-signed for one more year...and then Rinne gets the backup job...or who knows, maybe they feel he's ready now, and will take the job as early as next season.

Put it this way...we've never been so excited about a goaltending prospect, looking back on Finley and Lasak(both with great tools, but questionable mental fortitude) and the seeming lack of interest from Preds brass in Teemu Lassila and Miroslav Hanuljak.
