I think it's pretty hard for him to have a better season next year, but I don't think there will be anything to tarnish his reputation from this season next year. I would expect the Coyotes to be another playoff team that isn't wowing anybody due to their style of play.

The fact is, even if there is a new owner in place there may not be a lot of options to dramatically improve this team. It's not like we can make changes necessary to be considered a contender going into next year.

It's like they say, no one ever remembers who finishes 2nd place. In this case they surely won't remember who finished 4th. The Coyotes might gain a slight bit of respect, but they will probably be recognized for what they are now, and not underestimated like they had been the past few years.
