It's never TOO late. Don't worry about SKILLS right away, focus on the fundementals.

Hockey is like many things in life...if you fall down get up.

Don't get down on yourself, just don't ever quit.

Watch more experienced players, learn from what they do right, learn from what they do wrong. Ask questions, just like you did here.

I still learn new things even now (I'm old), ask questions just like you did here.
