Agreed. One thing people forget is the BLISTERING pace the Derby was run in this year. I wanna say the time was only 3 seconds off the track record. Bodemeister clearly faltered down the stretch at Churchill. It wasn't as apparant at Pimlico simply because I'll Have Another kicked at the same time, caught him at the same time, just had less room to pull away.

I'm looking more at a Smarty Jones/Birdstone scenario, with Union Rags being Birdstone.
