Yes, let's blame the guy that was an absolute rock for us. Let's also blame Henrik who stole many games for us up to this point.

You win as a team and you lose as a team. They put up 4 lackluster performances in Games 1-4; they were fortunate enough to take 2 of them. We get off to terrible starts once again in Games 5 and 6, but with the heart and determination of this team, gave us chances to win both. The moral of the story? Come out ready to play, come out strong.

We beat Ottawa and Washington because we were able to score some goals here and there, rely on Henrik, and basically outwork them for a majority of the series. We didn't do much of anything this series, outside of battling our way back into games and hanging around while NJ skated all over us.

I blame the team for not dictating the play on most nights. If the Rangers outworked them a majority of the series and were clearly the better team, then maybe I'd say losing in 6 is terrible. They needed to be better as a team in order to win, and they just didn't do that. The sad part is that as average as we played, we still had a chance to bring it to a Game 7.
