not actually a noob, i've had 15 years of experience on ice, 4 years of aggressive inline, and few years of competitive roller hockey (indoor)
that being said, i joined my friends for a bit of roller hockey a while ago (haven't touched roller for like 10 years at least) and i'm having a hard time stopping... somehow i forgot how to stop on roller skates..
at first the wheels felt too sticky but i thought hey, i'll be playing on asphalt so what's
the big deal? then i flew on my first attempt to stop... absolutely embarrassing...
