Since I played basketball most of my active life, and long before picking up hockey, these are all b-ball injuries (been lucky so far - no major hockey injuries): broke every finger on both hands at least once, some of them twice. Breaking your thumb is about the most painful thing I can think of happening to a human. Also broke my right ankle playing b-ball too.
As mentioned in the other thread, did tear an elbow ligament in hockey, but compared to b-ball, nothing broken/serious so far...
I guess after all those b-ball injuries, maybe hockey is a safer sport?
