It's not like we're going to have a problem with cap any time soon, but that doesn't say that Bäckström's is a 6 million goalie. I think his fair value would be closer to 4 million at the moment.
I still think Fletcher will offer Harding a contract to backup Backstrom, but it won't be much more than he made last season and it would only be a 1 year I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave.

There are plenty of veteran backup goalies to bring in if Harding moves on.
